Sony continues to expand its family of professional video production tools to meet the ever increasing demand for affordable high definition (HD) production solutions with the NIPROS/1 optical fiber studio system.
The NIPROS/1 studio system is designed with small handy-type camcorders in mind. The system allows the adaptation of Sony HD handycam-type camcorders for use in studio operations and multi-camera field productions (AC or 12VDC operation). Now, together with the new PMW-EX3, full 1920x1080 HD productions are within the reach of smaller budgets, allowing more facilities to move up to high definition. Highlights:

The Sony NIPROS/1 is an optical fiber studio system designed to be used with the PMW-EX3 camcorder. The system converts the camera into a small studio unit featuring all the necessary features, including tally indicators, teleprompter ability, RET video interface for switching, and more. The NIPROS/1 allows studios on smaller budgets to take advantage of full resolution high definition video for a fraction of the cost of larger units.
